Starrett has added a new Galileo video measurement system with several significant features that set it apart from existing Galileo products. The AV350 has a large, square, 14" x 14" (350mm x 350mm) X-Y work area and extra Z-clearance (8"/200mm). Structurally, it is built with extra space and enhanced support, specifically to provide room for multi-sensor attachments while maintaining exceptional precision all Galileo Systems provide. Compared to other Galileo Vision Systems, only the AV1824 Gantry-based system has a larger  X-Y work area, and the AV350 has the largest Z-clearance of all available Galileo products. Available with with LED or fiber illumination (application dependent), optional Renishaw contact probe and laser scanner, the AV350 is an ideal platform on which to build a multi-sensor system.
