New, Faster & Easier Way to Get Starrett Literature

Starrett has recently instituted a new system for ordering product catalogs, literature and collateral materials. Your orders can now be entered directly from the Starrett website using the familiar shopping cart interface. The new system provides better service, with most orders shipped on the same or next day.
The order interface is accessed by selecting the “Literature” button on the Starrett Homepage (above, left). On the next screen, login using your email address.
Next, select one of the four user categories (right):
“Consumers” are those customers that are individual users of our products.
“Educational Institutions” is a category for trade school teachers. For many years, we have been happy to fulfill requests from trade educators for larger quantities of Decimal and Metric/English conversion cards (#1317 &1318), “Tools & Rules” (#1211) and similar items for distribution to their students. Those selecting this category will can receive more of these items than “Consumers”.
“Distributors” are Starrett resellers and can order larger quantities of materials. When selecting this category, the Distributor Login screen will appear. After logging in (with the regular email address and password) select the third menu choice from the top to order literature.
“Starrett Personnel” is password-restricted and used by Starrett employees to order larger quanities of sales materials.
On their first visit, all users must provide contact information (right) to access the shopping cart. On subsequent visits, simply enter your email address and the other fields will be populated. Note that if your email address changes, you must create a new account.
After logging in, select one of the six literature categories on the left side of the screen (top, right). From the category list (bottom, left), make selections and indicate quantities, then add item(s) to the cart.
After making your selections, verify that your list is correct and complete. Then, either return to the Category Screen to make changes or Select “Complete Order” (bottom, left).
The Order Confirmation Screen includes a confirmation number and a print screen button. A confirming email will also be sent. |
