The Starrett PLATEN-36S Series are hardened steel 58 HRC platens for use with harder materials including metals, composites, ceramics, etc. The platens are square with concentric grooves that help stablize the sample during compression testing. This platen has a 296x296mm surface area. One platen is supplied. For use with twin column machines only.
